First of all everyone jumped on the bandwagon that the show was fixed and a Facebook group was made supporting Gamu to get her reinstated.

Then it was decided that the judges could include a wildcard entrant into the live show, so each judge would then have 4 contestants in the final. Almost instantaneously betting groups were taking huge bets on Gamu being given the wildcard and even winning the competition. However Cheryl was photographed visiting Treyc Cohens’ house and the reaction again was one of shock that went around the nation. Then finally the deportation story hit the headlines and that the producers of the show had found out about this before the contestants entered the judge’s house and they told Cheryl that she had no choice but not to pick Gamu for the final live show.

Your guess is as good as mine to what will happen in the live shows at the weekend, particularly with Cheryl’s two contestants; they could be booed of stage by the audience, breakdown again, Cheryl could come into a huge amount of abuse from the audience airing their views about her and the show. I am sure the TV ratings will be sky high and everyone is waiting with great anticipation and expectation and if you want a bet on what could happen at the weekend or who is going to win the final in the end we have Ladbrokes bonus codes to get you started.

We have finally reached the end of the Top 28 Magical Movies countdown and have the two final films ready for you.

We have finally reached the end of the Top 28 Magical Movies countdown and have the two final films ready for you. We hope you like the list and look forward to your comments and the end of it. We are soon moving on to a new list to reveal and hope you will be back for that one.

Remember that the criteria is that the movie had an impact on the audience and that it played more on the imagination of the audience than trying to trick them with fancy CGI. There will be 2 movies listed every day, so make sure you bookmark and get back to me every morning to follow along as the list gets ever closer to that number one Magical Movie.

02. The Princess Bride (1987)

This era brought forward movies that were telling stories inside the movies. This unpresuming film starts out with a grandfather starting to read a story to his reluctant grandson. For imagination, our number 2 has only one better, but no equals.

When a young boy falls ill, his grandfather pops round to visit him. To cheer his grandson up, Grandpa has brought a storybook; The Princess Bride, a tale of the love between the beautiful Buttercup and the besotted Westley, a love cruelly interrupted by Westley’s tragic apparent death at sea when seeking his fortune.

Heartbroken, Buttercup has sworn never to love again, but accepts the marriage proposal of the rich and handsome Prince Humperdinck, heir to the throne of Florin; but death is no barrier to true love, and in a story filled with exotically-accented swordsmen, big-hearted giants, genius kidnappers, sadistic torturers, vile swamps, Rodents of Unusual Size, the Dread Pirate Roberts and a somewhat embittered miracle worker, the love between Westley and Buttercup twists and turns on a path filled with adventure.

Will the True Love of Westley and Buttercup win the day? Will Inigo Montaya find the six-fingered man who murdered his father? Will Humperdinck’s evil plans come to fruition? And, more importantly, will Grandpa be able to tell the story without any of the yucky kissing?

01. Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)

Star Trek had already gripped the imagination of people for almost 2 decades before this movie was released. If you wonder why Star Trek deserves a listing here, take a look at your iPhone – It was all imfluenced by people that grew up watching all those amazing gadgets in the Star Trek films and TV series.

A strange cloud descends upon Klingon vessels and eradicates them with an energy bolt. The Epsilon IX space station alerts the Federation, but they too are wiped out by the entity. The starship assigned to the case is, what else, the NCC-1701. That would be the registration number for the U.S.S. Enterprise, which has been rebuilt.

Thus, the entire original crew you knew from the TV show returns. Although they are prepared to face the entity, nothing will prepare them for the ride to come. The film can be summed up in a single word: beautiful.

We are continuing today with the Top 28 (the Top Ten bit) Magcial Movies countdown and have two fresh films selected for you today.

The criteria is that the movie had an impact on the audience and that it played more on the imagination of the audience than trying to trick them with fancy CGI. There will be 2 movies listed every day, so make sure you bookmark and get back to me every morning to follow along as the list gets ever closer to that number one Magical Movie.

04. Indiana Jones – Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

Add one boring job title, where people think dust and dirt are fascinating. Brush it up with a hat, a whip and a teacher with a roguish grin. You have the base recepie for our number 4!

The year is 1936. Archeology professor Indiana Jones narrowly escapes death in a South American temple with a gold idol – by poison dart, fall, and finally a giant boulder that chases him out the front. An old enemy, Rene Belloq, steals the idol and then orders Hovito indians after Indy.

Indy, however, escapes back to the USA, where Army Intelligence officers are waiting for him at his university. They tell him about a flurry of Nazi archaeological activity near Cairo, which Indy determines to be the possible resting place of the Ark of the Covenant – the chest that carried the 10 Commandments. The Ark is believed to carry an incredibly powerful energy that must not fall into Nazi hands.

Indiana is immediately sent overseas, stopping in Nepal to pick up an old girlfriend (his old professor’s daughter) and then meeting up in Cairo with his friend Sallah. But danger lurks everywhere in the form of Nazi thugs, and poisonous snakes in the Ark’s resting place. After Belloq, hired by the Nazis, makes off again with the Ark, Indy & Marion are determined to get it back, and they overpower the pilot of a German plane. But Indy finds himself confronted with a giant German thug, and after a frightening hand-to-hand fight Indy & Marion blow up the plane.

Now the Nazis must drive the Ark to Cairo, but Indy regains control of the Ark after running the convoy off the road, one vehicle at a time. Once again the Nazis recapture the Ark…and Marion, heading for a Nazi-controlled island. There, Belloq will open the Ark…to demonstrate the horrific power it can unleash upon the world!

03. Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977)

Two words sums up the entire magical effect of this film – Light Saber!

In a galaxy far, far away, a psychopathic emperor and his most trusted servant – a former Jedi Knight known as Darth Vader – are ruling a universe with fear. They have built a horrifying weapon known as the Death Star, a giant battle station capable of annihilating a world in less than a second.

When the Death Star’s master plans are captured by the fledgling Rebel Alliance, Vader starts a pursuit of the ship carrying them. A young dissident Senator, Leia Organa, is aboard the ship & puts the plans into a maintenance robot named R2-D2. Although she is captured, the Death Star plans cannot be found, as R2 & his companion, a tall robot named C-3PO, have escaped to the desert world of Tatooine below.

Through a series of mishaps, the robots end up in the hands of a farm boy named Luke Skywalker, who lives with his Uncle Owen & Aunt Beru. Owen & Beru are viciously murdered by the Empire’s stormtroopers who are trying to recover the plans, and Luke & the robots meet with former Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi to try to return the plans to Leia Organa’s home, Alderaan.

After contracting a pilot named Han Solo & his Wookiee companion Chewbacca, they escape an Imperial blockade. But when they reach Alderaan’s coordinates, they find it destroyed – by the Death Star. They soon find themselves caught in a tractor beam & pulled into the Death Star. Although they rescue Leia Organa from the Death Star after a series of narrow escapes, Kenobi becomes one with the Force after being killed by his former pupil – Darth Vader.

They reach the Alliance’s base on Yavin’s fourth moon, but the Imperials are in hot pursuit with the Death Star, and plan to annihilate the Rebel base. The Rebels must quickly find a way to eliminate the Death Star before it destroys them as it did Alderaan.

06. The Crow (1994)

As brutal a story surrounding it in reality as the story itself is opened the worlds eyes to The Crow. The film paints a dark city abandoned by hope where crime and fear rules supreme. This dark saga is a worthy number 6!

A poetic guitarist Eric Draven is brought back to life by a crow a year after he and his fiancée are murdered. The crow guides him through the land of the living, and leads him to his killers: knife thrower Tin-tin, drugetic Funboy, car buff T-Bird, and the unsophisticated Skank.

One by one, Eric gives these thugs a taste of their own medicine. However their leader Top-Dollar, a world-class crime lord who will dispatch his enemies with a Japanese sword and joke about it later, will soon learn the legend of the crow and the secret to the vigilante’s invincibility.

05. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

For our number 5 you have to accept imagination and fantasy from the get go. While the film itself slowly reveals the magic during the introduction you will have to accept that the Ninja and Asian Martial Art phase of Hollywood culminated in this.

Four turtles and a rat are transformed into a humanized state by a mutagenetic gel in a sewer. The rat becomes their mentor, and teaches them all he knows regarding Jinjitsu. The turtles use their newfound skills to combat the crime in New York City. But when their mentor is captured by an enemy from the past, can they hold true to what they’ve learned, and stay together as a brotherhood?

One word? – Cowabunga!

There will be 2 movies listed every day, so make sure you bookmark and get back to me every morning to follow along as the list gets ever closer to that number one Magical Movie.

08. Toy Story (1995)

Forget the fact that it is 3D animated, it was made back in 1995, most of us still to this date do not have computers able to render that kind of 3D graphics. The story itself sparks imagination of your own toys coming to life. At spot number 8 we give you Toy Story!

A little boy named Andy loves to be in his room, playing with his toys, especially his doll named “Woody”. But, what do the toys do when Andy is not with them, they come to life. Woody believes that he has life (as a toy) good. However, he must worry about Andy’s family moving, and what Woody does not know is about Andy’s birthday party.

Woody does not realize that Andy’s mother gave him an action figure known as Buzz Lightyear, who does not believe that he is a toy, and quickly becomes Andy’s new favorite toy. Woody, who is now consumed with jealousy, tries to get rid of Buzz. Then, both Woody and Buzz are now lost. They must find a way to get back to Andy before he moves without them, but they will have to pass through a ruthless toy killer, Sid Phillips.

07. The Terminator (1984)

While most stories and movies tend to place you directly in the future, or the past, few takes the future back to our present time to kill you! At spot number 7 we give you The Terminator!

In the future, Skynet, a computer system fights a losing war against the humans who built it and who it nearly exterminated. Just before being destroyed, Skynet sends a Terminator back in time to kill Sarah, the mother to be of John Connor, the Leader of the human resistance.

The terminator can pass for human, is nearly indestructible, and has only one mission, killing Sarah Connor. One soldier is sent back to protect her from the killing machine. He must find Sarah before the Terminator can carry out it’s mission.

We are now getting in on the Top Ten part of this list and I thank you for all the comments and engagement you have shown. Please spread the word about this list if you like what you see.

10. The Rocketeer (1991)

Just a few years prior to this movie we had seen a person fly in with just a rocket pack strapped to his back during an Olympic opening. Dreams coming true is one of the greatest criteria we have and this one is shooting in place number 10.

In 1938, in Los Angeles, the pilot Cliff Secord crashes his plane after being hit in the air in a shoot-out between gangsters and FBI agents in a car chase; completely broken, his best friend and mechanics A. ‘Peevy’ Peabody tries to fix an old plane to raise some money in an exhibition show.

However, Cliff finds a package hidden by one of the gangsters with a rocket with belts and they find that the device allows man to fly. Meanwhile, his beloved girlfriend and aspirant actress Jenny Blake succeeds in an audition to make a small part in a movie of the great actor Neville Sinclair that is ranked the third in box-offices. During a flight exhibition, the mechanic Malcolm (Eddie Jones) has an accident, and Cliff uses the rocket to save him, being called Rocketeer by the public.

With his picture in the front page of the newspaper, Cliff is chased by the FBI, the gangsters and German spies that abduct Jenny and forces Cliff to rescue her.

09. Back to the Future (1985)

We are continuing today with the Top 28 Magcial Movies countdown and have two fresh films selected for you today.

12. Alien (1979)

Hold tight to your stomach! Alien may eat its way out and wreck havoc. This film managed to bring back the fear of the dark to most people as an Alien could lurk there with its acidic blood and its thirst for your blood. Still to this date it brings fears even in to the heart of online gamers that play the games based on this genre.

In the near future, during its return to the earth, a commercial spaceship Nostromo intercepts a distress SOS from a distant planet. The seven-member crew are woken up from the hypersleep and the spaceship subsequently descends on the planet. While exploring the planet, a three-member team of the crew discovers a derelict spaceship and a huge chamber inside it containing thousands of eggs.

When a curious team member goes too near the egg the parasite inside the egg attacks him, rendering him unconscious. He is brought back aboard, the spaceship takes off. After a little while the parasite dies and his host wakes up seemingly unruffled. But other crew members are unaware of the living nightmare which is going to descend upon them when the alien creature planted inside its unfortunate host would emerge.

With people scrambling for the nearest air lock as soon as Alien is mentioned makes it deserve a number 12 on our Magical Movie countdown list!

11. The Matrix (1999)

Movies are meant to makes us question, believe and embrace and there are few movies that brought philosphy so close to people as our number 11 managed to do. While its sequels left a lot to desire in terms of philosophy but made up for it in stunning visual stunts and special effects.

Thomas A. Anderson is a man living two lives. By day he is an average computer programmer and by night a malevolent hacker known as Neo. Neo has always questioned his reality but the truth is far beyond his imagination. Neo finds himself targeted by the police when he is contacted by Morpheus, a legendary computer hacker branded a terrorist by the government.

Morpheus awakens Neo to the real world, a ravaged wasteland where most of humanity have been captured by a race of machines which live off of their body heat and imprison their minds within an artificial reality known as the Matrix. As a rebel against the machines, Neo must return to the Matrix and confront the agents, super powerful computer programs devoted to snuffing out Neo and the entire human rebellion.

We are continuing today with the Top 28 Magcial Movies countdown and have two fresh films selected for you today.

14. Jaws (1975)

Jaws had a greater impact than the entire Horror movie industry had put together. It managed to keep an entire world afraid of water. It is this impact that places the movie Jaws firmly in number 14.

Martin Brody is the new police chief of Amity, an island resort town somewhere in New England. He has a wife named Ellen, and two sons named Michael and Sean. On a Summer morning, Brody is called to the beach, where the mangled body of Summer vacationer Chrissie Watkins has washed ashore. The medical examiner tells Brody that it could have been a shark that killed Watkins. Mayor Larry Vaughn, who is desperate to not lose the money that will be brought in by 4th of July tourists, wants Brody to say Watkins’s death was caused by a motorboat propeller instead of a shark, because the thought of a shark in Amity’s waters would drive tourists away from Amity.

It looks like Vaughn is a mayor who puts money ahead of people’s lives. Shark expert Matt Hooper believes Watkins was killed by a shark. Hooper is proven right a few days later, when Alex Kintner is killed by the shark that killed Watkins. Looking for the quickest solution, Vaughn tells all of the local fishermen to let him know if they see the shark. A shark hunter named Quint offers to find the shark and kill it, but Vaughn thinks Quint’s price of $10,000 is too high. When a tiger shark is killed and hauled in by a couple of boaters, Vaughn hastily says that the shark crisis is over, but Hooper says the shark that’s been killing people a huge great white shark is still in Amity’s waters, but Vaughn leaves the beaches opened because all he cares about is the 4th of July tourist money.

On the 4th of July, Vaughn encourages people to swim at the beach, and Hooper is proven right again when the shark kills a man, biting the man’s leg off. Michael, who was in the water at the time of the attack, is taken to the hospital, where he’s treated for shock after watching the shark kill the guy. Brody asks Vaughn to hire Quint to find the shark. Because his own kids were at that beach too, Vaughn agrees to hire Quint to find the shark. Quint, Hooper, and Brody are sent out to sea in Quint’s boat, the Orca, ready to do whatever it takes to find the shark.

13. Die Hard (1988)

A good cop with maybe not the perfect record soars in on spot number 13 to save the world, or well at least one sky scraper as he fends off greedy villains during a christmas party. Almost the same effect as Rocky since everyone wanted to be the realyl tough and witty cop.

ohn McClane is a cop from New York City who is on his way to Los Angeles to see his kids and his wife Holly, who moved to LA because of a job at the Nakatomi Corporation. When he arrives at Nakatomi Plaza, he meets Holly’s boss Joe Takagi and her co-worker Harry Ellis.

He and Holly go into a private bathroom and get into an argument. When Holly leaves to give a speech, thirteen armed terrorists lead by Hans Gruber seize control of the building and take the occupants of the 30th floor, who are the only ones left in the building, hostage. Luckily, they missed John and he has to figure out how to save the hostages before the terrorists get their way.

We are now half way there for our Magical Movie countdown list and it is amazing to see how many people are eagerly following this list to its end. We are continuing today with the Top 28 Magcial Movies countdown and have two fresh films selected for you today.

There will be 2 movies listed every day, so make sure you bookmark and get back to me every morning to follow along as the list gets ever closer to that number one Magical Movie.

16. Wargames (1983)

The film that woke up every hacker on the planet. It challenges him to a game between America and Russia, and he innocently starts the countdown to World War 3. Can he convince the computer he wanted to play a game and not the real thing?

What teenager has not on occasion dreamed of saving the world or becoming a hero? This is the reason this is safely landing at spot 16.

15. Superman: The Movie (1978)

The visual adaptation of the comic book hero, long before the blue screen effect had been master we had the man of steel jumping tall buildings, saving the girl of his dreams and the world.

Unable to convince the ruling council of Krypton that their world will destroy itself soon, scientist Jor-El takes drastic measures to preserve the Kryptonian race: He sends his infant son Kal-El to Earth. There, gaining great powers under Earth’s yellow sun, he will become a champion of truth and justice.

Raised by the Kents, an elderly farm couple, Clark Kent learns that his abilities must be used for good. The adult Clark travels to Metropolis, where he becomes a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet… and a caped wonder whose amazing feats stun the city: Superman! Meanwhile, Lex Luthor, the world’s greatest criminal mind, is plotting the greatest real estate swindle of all time. Can’t even the Man of Steel stop this nefarious scheme?

This one had every single male on this planet both envious and dreaming of flying so Superman saves our world again from spot 15.

We are continuing today with the Top 28 Magcial Movies countdown and have two fresh films selected for you today.

18. Kick-Ass (2010)

This is most likely the freshest film this list will produce, the strangest and most wonderful title that hides what almost every teenager since the invention of super heroes has wondered.

Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. His life is not very difficult and his personal trials not that overwhelming. However, one day he makes the simple decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training.

For its sheer brilliance and somewhat scary reality considerations (in a super hero movie) it lands hard on spot 18!

17. Forest Gump (1994)

This film may be the one film everyone knows about. Not only for the feel good quality and sad story it presents, it is also the film that completely wiped out of existance for a good ten year, what in this writing moment is the number 1 top 250 Movie of All Time – Shawshank Redemption. Forest Gump did however let us dream away into this magical life of Forest Gump whose story tops many legendary lives.

Forrest, Forrest Gump is a simple man with little brain activity but good intentions. He struggles through childhood with his best and only friend Jenny. His ‘mama’ teaches him the ways of life and leaves him to choose his destiny. Forrest joins the army for service in Vietnam, finding new friends called Dan and Bubba, he wins medals, starts a table tennis craze, creates a famous shrimp fishing fleet, inspires people to jog, create the smiley, write bumper stickers and songs, donating to people and meeting the president several times.

However this is all irrelevant to Forrest who can only think of his childhood sweetheart Jenny. Who has messed up her life. Although in the end all he wants to prove is that anyone can love anyone.
